This tournament proved to be the PW team's first major test of mettle. With competition ranging from Centennial to Cheyenne Central, there was a variety of high quality competition to be had. But the PW team proved that it can handle foes from any origin, with strong placings across the board in addition to grabbing second place in sweeps. More than anything, this tournament served as a reminder as to the importance of good practice and due diligence. Hard work, not luck, creates results like these.

The Cheyenne East tournament is coming in a few weeks, and will be a second chance to take on competitors from the far north. Will Pueblo West reclaim its honor by winning sweepstakes at Cheyenne East? That certainly remains to be seen...
